Whilst each Paynt Partner has their own sales playbook and process which you follow

when ‘closing’ merchants and winning business, below we will share some of our

successful techniques in winning business throughout the EU and UK:

  • Sending a total of 3 emails over the course of one week when chasing a merchant for a decision: for example Tuesday, Thursday, and Tuesday again - with phone calls on the days in between (Wednesday, Friday, Monday).

  • Reiterate that URocked comes at no additional cost to merchants if they are an existing merchant: and that URocked can be received the same day to their PAX A920 terminal - granted they sign the addendum.

  • Provide a case study and/or examples of a hospitality merchant within their country. Your PPAM can provide country-specific case studies upon request.

  • If the merchant is within the UK or Ireland, reiterate that this product makes them fully legally compliant with all tipping laws.
